These terms apply when you order from Lumen & Oak. Please read them before you buy — placing an order means you accept them.

1. About us

2. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm dispatch. We may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if a price was listed in error, or if we cannot deliver to your address — and we'll refund you in full if we do.
3. Pricing
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs and any taxes are shown before you pay. Multi-pack pricing is applied automatically at checkout. We can change prices at any time, but changes never affect an order already confirmed. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we'll contact you before dispatch and you may cancel.
4. Delivery
Dispatch and delivery timescales are set out on our shipping page. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
5. Returns and cancellation
Our 30-day money-back guarantee and your statutory 14-day cancellation right are set out in full on our returns page and form part of these terms.
6. Using the product safely
The light is a rechargeable indoor LED product. Charge it only with a standard USB supply, keep it away from water and heat, and don't attempt to open or modify it. It is a convenience light, not emergency or safety lighting.
7. Liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not liable for business losses, or for loss that was not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Content and intellectual property
All text, photography and branding on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
